“Scott came to my rescue in the middle of a very poorly done kitchen re-do. He sanded cupboards and walls, primed and reinforced shelving, Moved plumbing lines for new sink and cabinet. Installed insulation and drywalled most of kitchen. Removed old hardware and repaired old screw holes and divots in old wood. Rebuilt some wood shelving. Removed casing and smoothed back door entry where a hinged door used to be making it look like a new entry-way. Installed attic fan which pulled and vented out the hot air. Installed Poly-carbonate panels over a patio pergola in preparation of heavy rain.  Installed a hanging medicine cabinet, doorstops on a gate and back door so my dogs don’t get continually locked out of the house!

It has gone very well and we’re not done with my list yet! He thinks of solutions to problems posed and knows how to get the job done. He keeps up on techniques and products used for the construction trades and if he has a question he uses resources to find new ideas to problems. Scott needed to purchase materials and provided me with a packet of receipts and invoices of his hours worked in an easy to read and thorough way. He is very professional in his approach to performing his services.” – Jodeen Frank (Ventura, CA)

Scott worked through a long list of jobs – some larger, some smaller- in a very organized, disciplined, and thorough manner. He also offered sage advice on a number of items off the list. VERY productive hours over two days, as we fix up the house we have just moved into.

Two things set Scott apart. He thinks for himself, and often comes up with a more economical and elegant solution than the conventional “by the book” one. And secondly, he implements his solutions with gusto and energy. We’ll be calling upon him for more and larger tasks.” -Jonathon Gunter (Ojai, CA)
Scott is very professional and knowledgable about many different kinds of repairs. He makes good suggestions, works cleanly and was super responsive. Will be using him many more times in the future.” – Laura Wild (Oxnard, CA)

I needed a plaster and wood fence taken down. Scott quoted me $300, which was reasonable. He came out on time was very pleasant had to buy a new saw blade and quickly completed the job. Then he charged me less than agreed, including the cost of the saw blade. I cannot rate his service highly enough and would use him for anything. Great guy!” – Robert Klee (Ventura, CA)

This is the second project that Scott has performed for me.  Scott renovated 2 bathrooms from top to bottom.

Project completed 9/2/2015.  There were particularly difficult problems with the flooring in both bathrooms, Scott not only advised me of the problem, but showed me exactly what was causing the lifiting of the flooring, etc., being the very meticulous and professional person that he is, Scott advised that he would recommend taking the floor out to the bare bones and laying it properly, which I totally agreed with him.  Scott laid the flooring, installed new vanities, toilets, towell racks, medicine cabinets/mirrors, painted both rooms, always consulting me throughout the process.  Scott charges by the hour, so to keep costs low and make better use of his time, if there were items needed from the hardware store, Scott would write down what was needed, I’d take pictures of the needed item(s) and off I’d go to the hardware store, while Scott kept working (this process worked out very well for both of us).  Scott is a punctual person, if he was running late, he would call to advise.  I would definitely recommend Scott for any repair work, if the repair work is out of his realm of expertise, he will let you know.  I am very pleased with my bathrooms and I’ve already booked Scott for additional work in the next month or two.” – Diana Esperanza (Oxnard, CA)

Scott completely remodeled our guest bathroom and laundry room, including installation of a new vanity, toilet, mirror, lighting fixtures and tile. In addition, he replaced our worn washing machine connections to the wall, sealed an exterior door and painted walls and cabinetry.

Scott was beyond professional in everything he did. He arrived promptly on the days scheduled, worked without interruption and cleaned the work area at the end of every day. He provided much-need guidance and advise while being mindful of cost. HIs attention to detail was very refreshing and his work was high-quality. I can’t say enough good things about Scott. He will be our go-to handyman from now on!” – Matthew Heines (Ventura, CA)

“Painted interior of home, patched and repaired rotted windowsills, replaced bathroom air vents, fixed sagging closet rods, replaced towel bars in two bathrooms, and replaced all living/dining room electrical outlets.

I hired Scott to paint the interior of our rental home and provide some minor repairs prior to the new tenants move in date.  During the course of his job, he discovered some problems with the previous paint work as well as rot issues in the bathrooms.  I was not easy to reach during this time period, but Scott was very professional in reaching out to me to discuss that the scope of work had changed due to what he had found.  The job became much bigger than we anticipated, but Scott did an excellent job in all the work he performed.  While the cost of the job was more than we estimated and nobody likes to pay more, all the work he performed was excellent, the place looked wonderful and he worked WAY harder than he had planned that week!  His rates were reasonable and he took plenty of pictures to document his work.  I will hire him again.” – Wendy Vickers (Camarillo, CA)

“Scott is very helpful in assisting the homeowner with his professional advice and knowledge. He is diligent, professional and hard-working. We have used Scott before and will continue to use his services in the future. If a job is beyond his capabilities he will tell you so and not try to flim-flam his way through it. If you want quality home repair, Scott is your man.” – Steven Nash (Oxnard, CA)

“Responded quickly to my initial phone call and was prompt for appointment. Scott was friendly, polite, professional, and ethical. When I had a second problem, he gave me a suggestion over the phone to try before he came out. It worked and saved me money. He could have just come and done the small job and charged me. I would never have known. He also does other home repairs, and I will use him again.” – Janyce Zaboski (Point Mugu, CA)

“It went very well. In addition to our planned fixes, Scott identified a number of problems we had missed and always had good solution to offer us. He was always there on time and worked diligently. His quality of work and materials was excellent, and was always willing to go the extra mile to give us a top notch conclusion.” – Bruce Black (Ventura, CA

“I discovered I had termites invading my living room.  When I first contacted Scott he was booked up on a long project. To my surprise he called one day to say he would be available.  He came over and checked out the situation and gave me a BEST and WORST case assessment of the situation.

He was very detailed explaining the situation to me and the solution.  He had to remove a short wall.  Scott was excellent at cleaning up the plaster dust and draping the furniture. He kept good track of his time and materials. Upon opening the wall he found creatures from outside and found their opening and sealed it. The wall looks excellent.  Scott’s very neat. He was prompt, cooperative and pleasant to have in my house. The project took most of a week to allow drying.  He was very cooperative with time for my convenience.” – Pat Martin (Port Hueneme, CA)

“Repaired walls, replaced drywall, installed interior and exterior doors, painted interior walls, and a host of other things.
Scott was great. Professional, attention to detail, high quality work.  I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants professional quality work at a reasonable price from an honest contractor.” – Duane Ells (Ojai, CA)
