“Scott came to my rescue in the middle of a very poorly done kitchen re-do. He sanded cupboards and walls, primed and reinforced shelving, Moved plumbing lines for new sink and cabinet. Installed insulation and drywalled most of kitchen. Removed old hardware and repaired old screw holes and divots in old wood. Rebuilt some wood shelving. Removed casing and smoothed back door entry where a hinged door used to be making it look like a new entry-way. Installed attic fan which pulled and vented out the hot air. Installed Poly-carbonate panels over a patio pergola in preparation of heavy rain. Installed a hanging medicine cabinet, doorstops on a gate and back door so my dogs don’t get continually locked out of the house!
It has gone very well and we’re not done with my list yet! He thinks of solutions to problems posed and knows how to get the job done. He keeps up on techniques and products used for the construction trades and if he has a question he uses resources to find new ideas to problems. Scott needed to purchase materials and provided me with a packet of receipts and invoices of his hours worked in an easy to read and thorough way. Project completed 9/2/2015. There were particularly difficult problems with the flooring in both bathrooms, Scott not only advised me of the problem, but showed me exactly what was causing the lifiting of the flooring, etc., being the very meticulous and professional person that he is, Scott advised that he would recommend taking the floor out to the bare bones and laying it properly, which I totally agreed with him. Scott laid the flooring, installed new vanities, toilets, towell racks, medicine cabinets/mirrors, painted both rooms, always consulting me throughout the process. Scott charges by the hour, so to keep costs low and make better use of his time, if there were items needed from the hardware store, Scott would write down what was needed, I’d take pictures of the needed item(s) and off I’d go to the hardware store, while Scott kept working (this process worked out very well for both of us). Scott is a punctual person, if he was running late, he would call to advise. I would definitely recommend Scott for any repair work, if the repair work is out of his realm of expertise, he will let you know. Scott completely remodeled our guest bathroom and laundry room, including installation of a new vanity, toilet, mirror, lighting fixtures and tile. In addition, he replaced our worn washing machine connections to the wall, sealed an exterior door and painted walls and cabinetry.

I hired Scott to paint the interior of our rental home and provide some minor repairs prior to the new tenants move in date. During the course of his job, he discovered some problems with the previous paint work as well as rot issues in the bathrooms.
