Background:

I began my career in 1979 working for a friend of mine as a House Painter, and became a Painting Contractor in 1981. As time passed I realized that the repair and restoration of the homes I was painting were also important to me, and I began expanding my skill set by taking “Construction Technology” classes, and “cross training” with other types of contractors during slow periods of the painting business. I developed a good reputation as a high quality painting contractor; and someone who did excellent repairs and restoration prior to painting.

Fast forward to 2016 and I now have a vast skill set and expertise in all aspects of home repair, remodeling, restoration and finishing. I believe that “adequate” is never good enough for my customers, and that they deserve the best quality possible at all times. If I can make it “Last Longer, Hold Stronger, Look Better and Never Fail” that is what I will do.

Workmanship

I use only the BEST Materials, Fasteners, Hardware, Polyurethane Caulks and Adhesives, Paints, Sealants and Coatings that are available today. I adhere to ONLY THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF WORKMANSHIP AND QUALITY, and all work is performed to meet or exceed local codes and requirements.

I GUARANTEE ALL MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP AGAINST ALL FLAW OR FAILURE FOR A PERIOD OF 3 YEARS and during that time I will correct any problems with a smile

I don’t believe that finding a quality contractor should be difficult, and simply want your experience to be a pleasant one. All my BIDS, INVOICES, CHANGE NOTICES AND CONTRACTS ARE CLEAR, CONCISE AND EASY TO READ. I will spend as much time as needed to answer every question or concern you may have.

I will provide you with as many references as you want from actual customers that I have done work for. I have been a LICENSED CONTRACTOR SINCE 1991, HAVE NEVER HAD A SINGLE COMPLAINT made to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU or the CONTRACTORS STATE LICENSE BOARD.  I have over 100 positive reviews on ANGIES LIST and won the “SUPER SERVICE AWARD” from Angies List in 2008 and 2010-2015. I also carry a Completion Bond and will gladly provide all documentation to my Customers.

Experience

I have been licensed with the California State Contractors Board for over 25 years as a Painting and Decorating Contractor(C-33).

After 35 years in the building trades, I am an expert in all aspects of home repair and restoration and am trained as a Certified Home Inspector. I do not hold a “General Contractors License” due only to State restrictions on dual Licensing. Unlike general Contractors I do not use Sub contractors and perform all work myself to exacting standards that meet or exceed all local and state codes.

All of my Estimates, Contracts and Change Orders are clear, simple and easy to understand and I will spend as much time as necessary to answer all your questions and concerns about doing business with me.
